In response to a host of various problems I had with my service, I was universally told "It's not my fault". This was the worst service I've ever received anywhere. The venue is not shabby chic, it's just shabby. The staff are useless, entitled, snobs who seem genuinely uninterested in delivering even the slightest hint of hospitality. I didn't even get a drink or try the food so I can't comment on that. Great restaurants are a dime a dozen these days though. There's no need to subject yourself to this hell hole.
Tim was the hotel manager upon our arrival here. From start to finish we had the most excellent evening, night and morning. We were greeted with friendly and genuine conversation. Tim recommended so many nice places to go in the area, and he even popped over to say goodbye as we enjoyed the complementary breakfast the next morning. The room was precious. The most quaint, cozy, beachy escape you can imagine. Quiet, calming hammock on private deck with the soothing sounds of Fort Pond, birds chirping, sunshine and breeze. All that we could have asked for during our one night stay. We enjoyed live acoustic music, cocktails and a gorgeous sunset on an August evening. Really cool bathroom finishes, with a salvaged vessel sink, pebbled showered floor and a super strong shower head. Overall great decor. The Marshall speaker for music was a great touch. Super big bed with comfy, all white linens. We'll be back!
Worst experience ever. What a cluster of calamities. Rude staff, dirty, sub-par food, patrons and staff were annoyed and irritable. Watched as the bouncer made an entire bachelorette party stand in the rain while he let in other people-the bar wasn't even crowded so it was unnecessary and rude. Cant close bathroom stall doors without straddling the seat. You have to park .5 mile away and walk rain or shine to get there-no shuttle to bring guests back. Even when you buy a table, the service is sub-par. Total waste of time and a pretty pathetic scene. A bunch of wannabes
Great food and great atmosphere. Live music, outdoor seating overlooking the water, and bottle service to tables set in sand next to the stage. My recommendation is to set your reservations far in advance. Our first time there it was mid day with bad weather and there was no entry for any reason, unless you wanted to buy a table for a $1,500 minimum. Probably still worth it haha.
You didn’t spend your summer at the Hamptons if you didn’t come here, best bar of Long Island!
