It's always been 5 stars, but I haven't been there in years. The museum is better than ever and the grounds are very well taken care of. It's great to see long islands history being preserved so well.
Beautiful light house and cute town. There are a lot of shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend taking a trip to Montauk!
This place was gorgeous went down to the beach had all kinds of cool looking rocks and cliffs along with sandy beaches. There was also a really sweet looking lighthouse
It's almost like a mini safari. We saw deer, possums, fox's, turkeys, horses, turtles, seals. Lots of people fishing for striped bass and bluefish in the surrounding areas of Shagwon point and gin beach. Great day away.
You can enjoy it all for FREE. It is a nice place to visit. We spent the day at the beach in Montauk and arrived here at 4 pm. Parking is free after 4 pm, instead of $8. Climbing the light house + museum are not worth the $11. Walk around instead and take great pictures. We stayed here ~40 min. Restrooms only accessible if you pay $11/person.
