Worst experience in a " fine dining restaurant "
Not to mention that I wasn't a "fan" of the Orange juice that was "Freshly squeezed" out of a Tropicana bottle.
The "Locally sourced fruit" are all but local (pineapple, melon, cantaloupe from anywhere but Montauk).
In Montauk. With a host backed by a front staff of 4-5 , our " waiter " ignored us from start ( he was too busy resetting tables ) to finish ( I had to ask him 4 times for a glass of water ) . The food didn't make it any better . The Crispy Calamari was a clumped , burnt presentation of 75% heads and very few rings . The chicken cutlet parmigiana was burnt . Just plain horrible . And this was a special occasion with friends visiting from Bellmore.
Service was horrible, portions low, and prices way too high. Pathetic.
Breakfast is a total ripoff.
The "Fresh squeeze OJ" is actually freshly poured from a bottle, served in a glass filled with ice so that you only have one splash of juice.
Great food and service. This is the best place for Italian food in Montauk.
I believe you have way better options downtown where you can eat Fresh food for half that price and enjoy a nice breakfast in Montauk.
Go to town to get some good breakfast, don't spend your money in this place. For half the price you will get much better food.
Pancakes were not good.
Service was at best "neutral". Better to ask the shuttle service to go downtown.
